Search & Distribution

Better Index & Search Tools

We don’t always want to watch a 1 or 2 hour training video at once.  In order to overcome that issue, we created a technology which allows for index and search to find the precise two or three minute section of content we are seeking.  If you want to know how to set up your signature box for email in MS Outlook, type that in the search bar and we’ll bring you to the right spot.  Building superior tools for enhanced searchable is tough, see page x in appendix technology we have built.

Controlled Distribution in the Cloud

Others have tried to distribute content without controlled distribution.  Napster tried this for music.  But if you can’t control distribution you can’t separate quality and the amount of information is so big, searches are poor and you don’t have a lot of incentive for professional content.

While YouTube is fun, it doesn’t have real professional content and it’s so open and community-based that distribution is too unrestricted.  We learned from iTunes where it allows people to build their own library of music content unique to them.  Content suppliers like this approach because it allows user to have what they want and it allows authors to build tons of music at affordable price.  People liked the iTunes approach and are willing to buy, instead of support the pirate approach.  So we wanted to share some of that approach.

Retrieve has a cloud based technology (and did so before it was a buzz word) and a user platform or rGuide Library.  Now access can be controlled, shared and distributed.  Our content can be produced at a fraction of the typical costs and it can be distributed again for a fraction of the cost.  We give people content, platform and affordable pricing.

We took the best features from Knowledge Management, Learning Management, Intranets, YouTube, iTunes and built the Retrieve Cloud to run on three screens.

Retrieve Technologies produces rGuides, great video training and a modern cloud-based platform, which gives you the best new way of learning.

It’s fast, engaging and always retrievable.
