Products - vOffice / vLibrary
vBooks (virtual books) are dynamic containers of knowledge and the core component of Retrieve's Information
Distribution System (IDS) and the vOffice/vLibrary is the interface from which users access their vBooks.
There are two interface options: vOffice and vLibrary. vOffice requires a login and allows the user to control
their vBooks, categories, etc. The vLibrary does not require login and allows a company to distribute information
to users general reference.
In both the vOffice and vLibrary, searches can be facilitated on all the vBooks or by category by typing a subject
search term into the search bar.
Clicking on a search result opens the vBook to that page. And searches can be refined by entering a new search
term for seamless searching of results.
vOffice
A vOffice gives users a single entry point to access all of the content in their vBooks. The individual
vOffice also provides management and organizational visibility tools of vBooks. Adding additional vBooks
to an individual vOffice is as easy as selecting titles.
vBooks are placed in categories or shelves in the vOffice. Users can create new categories and even move vBooks
between categories which gives users control on how they organize their information.

- Add notes to pages as well as notes from other users and the author
vLibrary
The vLibrary is virtually the same interface as the vOffice except users cannot add, move or delete the vBooks in a
vLibrary, nor can they add, delete or rename cateogories. In the vLibrary the user has a book or set of books
that are set in the Distributor. Anyone accessing the vLibrary has full access to any of the vBooks but
does not have the ability to move or delete books, or create categories as you can do in a vOffice.
The Distributor is used to set up the vLibrary so that users can register for all the vBooks in the vLibrary, which would create
a vOffice with those vBooks or add the vBooks to an existing vOffice.
