Ideally, project and topic communications all take place within the Retrieve ecosystem, but the reality is that external users will somehow need to get involved. For these cases, we've added a feature that allows any user to forward emails & email attachments directly into a Collaborate or Support topic.
Simply navigate to the settings tab of the topic you want to forward to, and find the globally unique email address associated with that topic.
Next, go to your chosen email client and either Send, Forward, CC, or BCC the email to the topic address:
Finally, head back into the topic. You'll notice that within a matter of seconds, the entire contents of the email, and all email attachments have been neatly funneled into the topic:
Best yet, every email that's forwarded to the topic becomes organized and completely searchable by spoken word in video, OCR, and text.
