With Retrieve, Trimble is able to keep their sales reps and resellers educated and up-to-date resulting in more sales. 

Trimble integrates a wide range of positioning technologies including GPS, laser, optical and inertial technologies with application software, wireless communications, and services to provide complete commercial solutions.

Trimble products are used in over 150 countries around the world. Employees in more than 35 countries, coupled with a highly capable network of dealers and distribution partners serve and support their customers. Trimble needed a mobile solution to empower their regional sales teams and channel partners with up-to-date product knowledge. The solution needed to be cost effective, easy to implement, and the success needed to be measurable.

Previously, Trimble had trained their sales teams and channel partners with face-to-face training. This created excess expenditures of time and money.

Retrieve allowed them to create, distribute, consume, and analyze the product training or updates via the Retrieve platform and the branded Trimble Library App, making the content available to any variation of end users.

Once content consumption was analyzed, Retrieve allowed Trimble to communicate with users based on their activity within the platform, creating customized messages never before possible using standard website or email analytics.

Trimble is growing quickly and acquiring new technologies. We sell our technical products through our existing sales channels. We need to provide up-to-date product sales and technical information to more than a hundred Trimble Sitech reseller organizations in North America. Each organization employs up to 20 sales and technical staff members who need information on-demand.

Due to travel and logistics, each of our regional sales managers can typically meet just two reseller organizations daily. With Retrieve, we can ‘clone’ our team and give our resellers immediate access to product training and education to help them sell more and improve customer services. Although we have a corporate learning center website, we needed a tool that allowed us to build and distribute sales and product content fast in order to drive revenue.
